Typical Sunday

Today I realised that Emay jiejie is boring. Why? Cos when she carries little baby J, he falls asleep! This was after other church members carried him and played with him and he was all-smiley as usual. But when Emay jiejie carried him, he entered Slumberland in a matter of 2 minutes! Heh. No lah, it is probably due to ergonomics, the perfect fitting of the curves. =)
I also learnt that my Sunday school student, D, has changed from a somber, quiet little gal to a cheeky one. Why? Apparently I am the reason why. She learns from the best. Good for her! But next week Emay jiejie will take over for the next 2 months, and D should return to normal. Haha!
Had a lot of fun with HF as well. We went to Liang Court while it was pouring. Because her slippers were slippery (that's why they are called slippers!), I held on to her. And she pretended to be an ah-sor! She went, "Aiyoh... young people nowadays are not so kind! Nobody told me it would rain today, so I didn't bring umbrella! Thank you leh..." And when I refilled her drink later, she went, "Bu2 yao4 zai4 guan4 wo3 le4..." and pretended to be some seductive, drunk hostess. It was hilarious! And how she used her witchy accent to command Merf to come to her. Yes HF, you crack me up!
Badminton was fun, fun, fun. To see HF, Meow and Emay improve so much that they can get into formation and take more difficult shots is so heartening! And so much more exciting! Haha! Weather was good and cooling cos of the rain, so that probably affected our mood too. And the banter between WX and HF cracked us all up as well! =) Satisfying.
Finally, to have an aimless, relaxing walk around Hougang admiring mango trees with good company and learning that "polyclinic" is actually "polyclinics" was "nice, good and cute".
