First day of school

First day of school. *Jitters*
What predominant feeling?
LOST. Really LOST.
Why? Cos the school is so huge! It’s like a gigantic organization where people operate in departments. Although the college looks great and fun, with strong school spirit, I still feel so lost. I am told that it’s cos I’m still new. Takes time. Yeah ok, but maybe cos I have no buddy who came in with me, not like the others who have newbies as well. So I'm perpetually lost. I need my trustworthy friends! Like Meow, Becky and Chien in NUS, Pengy in NIE, HF and Emay jiejie in church, Mummy at home, K now, etc. (Eh, I don't take them for granted... I'm just really blur.) Therefore I feel like I’m left alone to float or sink (I need to find a trustworthy friend who is willing to be my secretary), although credit must be given to my department and my neighbour in the same cubicle. Nice lot of people. Gonna have to trudge through the blurness…
But I have to say that the admin is really efficient. Several weeks before our first day of reporting, we were already assigned desks, with our big names printed by the side... with our pigeon holes labelled nicely ready for the correct pigeons to coop in, letterboxes up for students to leave their fingerprints, etc. Great.
