Pregnancy and World Cup

Someone (a 'he') announced that he was going to have a baby. (But no, of course not him, but his wife.) He was concerned over whether the baby would affect his career, due to the fact that he has just changed his career and wants to settle down in his job first. He was told that, no, babies don't affect the father's life. A guy's life still goes on as per normal, but life will be a drastic change for his wife. After that, there's a life-long commitment somemore! One expert commented, "The tadpole just swim swim swim, then got caught, then gooooaaaalllllll......." World cup fever! She went on to say that it only takes a minute to score, but the poor wife got to carry it for 9 months! Argh!

He was worried that it is too fast and that he's not ready. The experts (the married ones with kids) told him that no one is ever ready. Even when you think you are ready, you will feel all jittery when the baby does make its grand entrance to the world. Hmmm...

And I learned that some people do want 4 kids, even in this time and age. Makes the family more complete? When asked why, it was speculated that it was to fill all 6 seats at the dining table. Haha! Why must we fill them with kids?? Put Mr Platypus, Space-between-head Pooh Bear, Chip the chipmunk, Maple the Monkey, Mr ah-Pui Pooh Bear and Pricky (aka Porky) the Hedgehog! Though I will make space for Dao Pork if he graces the occasion.

A subject head also commented that her teachers do inform her when they get pregnant. The funniest thing was when she was teased for being so detailed and informed, to the extent that she might even want to know when her teachers were trying for a baby.

For example:
Target: To have a baby at the end of the year.
Specifics: Baby Boy
Process: To start trying as often as possible.

Do you know that it's also possible to close shop as well? And do you know that you could keep engaging in the production, but not actually produce a product? And that the final product can't be planned too much in detail. Sometimes it can also be a limited edition product, especially when the factory has almost ceased production. I wonder why the Singapore Sale is still on when our replacement rate is only hovering around 1.2 when the replacement rate for the population is 2.1. There should be a China or India sale... more in abundance.
