Super(wo)man

Caught Superman yet? Not as in catch him and hold him in your arms... (hmm, that sounds like a grreat idea! Haha! Oops?) He's charming right? So gentlemanly, the way he held Lois as they ascended up... awww... And so mightily strong when he lifted the krypton island out of earth despite the krypton growing and affecting him. And his cape, his bod, his new underwear, that curl (stress that 'l') in his fringe... *googoogaga*

Haha! No lah, I'm not crazy over him. Somebody mentioned he looks plastic-ky, resembling Ken, barbie doll's boyfriend. No wonder he's called Kent Clark. Heh. I thought the show was very long and draggy though I loved the little boy. So guai.

"Have you taken your vitamins, etc, etc?"
"Yes mum" repeatedly and good-naturedly. *Blissful sigh*
And even though he had power, he still needed his inhaler! Haha!

Discovered some parallels between "Superman" and Jesus Christ too.
About Superman hearing cries for a saviour, and he being the son who was sent to Earth, etc. Quite nice links, I thought.

Oh, and I decided to be Super(wo)man too by offering BB my marking services for free. I offered to help her mark the J2 Geog papers. My RO looked flabbergasted and looked at me with lots of concern.

RO: "Do you know that the first lesson you need to learn is to NOT (with emphasis) offer your help?"
Me: "Err...."
RO: "You're sure about this? JC2 you know? You sure? You're gonna regret this..."

Hmm... is it? Haha!

To put it into context, she is someone who asked (innocently) a fellow colleague to mark her History scripts, when that colleague is teaching a Geography. We heard the conversation and complained that he didn't offer to help.

RO: "You didn't ask what! Christian school you know? Ask and you will receive and your joy will be made complete."

Really? Hmm... I want to fly with Superman....
