To do or not to do
I learnt something today from a HOD.
A primary school boy was drawing a fish on a piece of paper. After drawing it, he told everyone around him that the fish was as stoopid as everyone else. When asked why, he answered that the fish was stoopid enough to open his mouth so wide to be caught by the fishing hook.
So what's the explanation for this analogy?
If you don't wanna get arrowed, don't open your mouth so wide.
But I was thinking, sometimes you don't open your mouth, you also get arrowed what. Hmm, cos there are always tai-kos who just throw the fishing line and immediately hit target! =)
Whatever it is, just take it as it comes lah. We can always go beyond our duties and responsibilities. We might someday be in the position where we really need help from others... and imagine, when we do ask for help, no one comes forward... and if we arrow, they make noise. Why make things difficult... if it's within our means, just do it lor.
Even doing simple little things well is an act of serving God. And if we do them well, God will be able to trust us with bigger things.
(Just that I can't even do simple things well... I don't even remember the day or the date anymore!)
