Friends do matter...

This week's catching up with friends has been rather fulfilling.

Mon - Pengy and our laugh-out-loud styles must have amused the zi char auntie quite abit. She was always grinning over at us. Haven't met Pengy for awhile and it might have sparked off a dream of her. =) She was so blur that she asked me where I was going at the end of the year! (To India, with YOU, my dear girl!!) Hahaha!

Tue - Girls' night out with Chien. Reminiscent of old times. Her funny attitude (I wonder if it's just towards me! Haha! Oh well... I'll take it anyway. True?), Far East's Nana Zi Char, shopping (hers, not mine), Scotts, Yami Yoghurt, and to her bus-stop.

Me: How come my Yami yoghurt is frozen and yours isn't?
Chien: Mine is fresher.
Me: Oh!! *bursts out laughing* That's the box!! (Referring to the 'hard yoghurt')
Me: But they are the same colour!!
Chien: They are not! I can see all the scratch marks on the base of the box!

Why oh why am I always up to some booboo??

We could be more gluttony next time and order everything from the food court after dinner! =) Count Meow and Becky in too! (As long as Chien doesn't don her green polka-dot dress, Meow will be free for dinner!)

Wed - Pure fren fiesta! Another gluttony day where I gobbled down Raffles City's bak-chor mee, followed immediately with Soup Spoon's Mushroom Straganoff with pure friend and a tasteless Ya Kun tea. Just sitting down and talking to her is so comforting, so fun. And we still had lots to say even though it was eternity since we last properly talked! I'm glad she's thinking of playing badminton with me regularly! (And that dodo bird of an iliep "put our aeroplane"... cos of a recalcitrant student. See how we penalize ourselves when we punish students?) But iliep sent me a beautiful email out of the blue! (*touched* by an ostrich. That's what she calls herself! Hahaha!)

Thurs - Silly day out with long fren/pinpy. For once I was early! (How rare is that??) The phonecall came when pinpy arrived.
P: "Sorry... I'm here already. Where're you?"
Me: "It's okay... I'm at Borders."
P: "What?!! That's at Wheelock! I thought we were meeting at Heeren?"
Me: "Oops... k, I'll take a bus down."

But I ran there instead and made it there probably faster than a bus, if you take in waiting time. A typical booboo from me huh! Anyway, we had Sakae sushi to satisfy her Jap food craving, and boy was it fulfilling! We were of course late for the ceremony we were supposed to attend. But due to the crowd, we decided to 'abstain' from it. In the end, we just collected our certs and proceeded off, since no one knew who we were or whether we were there in the first place! =)

We landed at this educational play centre where we amused ourselves thoroughly with the machines, resembling kiddos at the Science Centre. (And to think that Pinpy indulged me! Hahah!) We were so engrossed to the extent that we didn't even hear our fellow jedis calling us! We didn't even apologise... we just roped them in to play. And we won! Hahaha!

After that ensued my 'arduous' journey to Beach Rd for First Aid Course. I like walking what. But I was feeling rather lethargic from the day's activities already. Nevertheless, from Somerset, I made my way to the National Library where I found a secluded, unglam spot to take a nap at before continuing my journey. (Pinpy commented that i was like the rabbit who took a nap and got overtook by the tortoise.)

How can one do without friends? How can one do without girl friends?
Thank you Lord, for providing us with friends - for company, for support, for laughter, for fun, for warmth, etc.
